It is hard to believe but this autumn, the London School of English in Donetsk will celebrate 10 years since its birth in late 2001.

Since my arrival here in 2003 (how the time has flown), I believe we have maintained our high standards of English language tuition which the London School of English has been known for since its founding in Kiev in 1996. The way in which the network of schools within our group has grown n recent years is the best indication of that what we do is recognized by our students and clients as being worthwhile and that quality English language tuition is a really vital investment in the future of our students.

I am delighted to say that to coincide with our 10th anniversary year, the school is increasing our number of professionally trained English speaking teachers to enable us to serve our students’ needs even better. The next school year looks like being a very exciting one.

We are now proud to say that the London School of English is also an official Pearson Testing Centre of English, which gives us the opportunity to offer our students a new valuable examination recognized worldwide. Read more details about this exciting project

As part of our complete English language study programme which we offer all our students, we now incorporate the following additions to our normal courses:

-An English Reader programme for use in class and at home, to motivate students to read more English at a level suitable for their needs

-Membership of our Student Library, where students both young and old can borrow a wide range of new DVDs, authentic fiction/non-fiction books and graded readers.

-A introductory free PTE study pack for all new students who enter a PTE level course for the study year 2011-2012. See further details

-A social programme where students have the chance to participate in fun activities and socialize in an English speaking environment with their favorite teachers

-Saturday Conversation Club-where students can have lots of free speaking practice in a more relaxed environment with a native speaker teacher (starting in late September)

-Weekday business class to focus on your everyday English business needs (Starts in early September)

-The opportunity to study for prestigious international examinations (PTE/FCE/CAE/IELTS) all taught by fully qualified native teachers.

Finally, to celebrate our 10 years as the leading English language school in Donetsk, we will be celebrating this important event with a big party in the autumn, and all our students, both older and newer, are warmly invited. Keep your eyes and ears open for further details coming soon.
